The New York Preservation Archive Project presents a screening of "At the Corner of 3rd and 3rd", a documentary by Max Kutner explores the evolving character of Gowanus, Brooklyn and the evocative New York and Long Island Coignet Stone Company Building, an architectural folly on the Gowanus waterfront.  Constructed in 1873, the building at 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street is the first cast stone structure in the United States and a designated city landmark that spent most of its time since 1960s in a state of abandoned neglect
